This short film contains a message for us all: Sometimes the best kind of resistance is joy.

Bogdan Senyk, from L’Arche Ukraine in Lviv, grew up in the former Soviet Union, where he says the government denied his existence. And while an outright denial of disability in the Soviet Union may be an exaggeration, historically people with disabilities behind the Iron Curtain were hidden, stigmatized, and dehumanized.
