When visiting the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Krakow-Łagiewniki, Poland, St. John Paul II desired that the whole world be enveloped by the Divine Mercy of God.
This would be his final pilgrimage to Poland, and he spoke of his belief that the Divine Mercy devotion will pave the way for Jesus' final coming.
He concluded his visit with a special act of entrustment with the following prayer, which many continue to use as a daily prayer, giving to God the world and its many problems.
